In 2015, Alfaran Trailers was entrusted with a large scale logistics project of national significance. This was the transportation of a new, unassembled power-station by various modes of transport.
This project was planned out with the client to find out the best solution to transport efficiently and safely all the components, fully satisfying the client’s requirements. Most of the cargo was transported using the road and rail network from Poland up to Genova, Italy, and by sea to the Maltese islands. Due to the nature of some of the cargo, a vessel was chartered to transport large boilers by sea.
